1. Agreement
These Terms govern use of the HER THANG platform, operated by [COMPANY]. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian creating or approving an account on behalf of a minor athlete, you agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. Accounts and roles
The platform has three account types — Coach, Athlete/Parent, and Scout — each with access limited to what that role needs, enforced at the database level, not just in the interface. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping your account credentials secure. A role, once set, cannot be changed on your own account; contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] if this needs to change.
3. Coach and team responsibilities
A coach creating a team represents that they are authorized to manage that team and its roster, including uploading game film and entering athlete information. Coaches are responsible for obtaining any consent required from athletes or their parents/guardians before adding them to a roster or uploading footage that features them.
4. Registration payments
Team registration fees are processed through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize the charge shown at checkout. A platform fee is deducted from each transaction before funds are transferred to the team's connected payout account; the fee amount in effect at checkout is what applies. 5. Game film and AI-generated content
When a coach uploads game film, it is sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) to extract statistics such as final score and notable plays. AI-generated output is a best-effort automated estimate, not a verified official record — it can be wrong, incomplete, or misattribute a play to the wrong player, and should be reviewed rather than relied on as authoritative. Coaches remain responsible for correcting scores and records shown on the platform.
6. Acceptable use
Do not upload content you don't have the right to upload, attempt to access another user's data or another team's roster, attempt to circumvent rate limits or other technical protections, or use the platform to harass, endanger, or misrepresent any athlete, especially a minor. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7. Recruitment profiles and scout visibility
An athlete's recruitment profile is visible to Scout accounts only when explicitly marked visible by the athlete or their parent/guardian. HER THANG does not guarantee that any scout will view a profile or that visibility will result in recruitment interest, and makes no representation about the accuracy of any third-party scout account.
8. Disclaimers
The platform, including any AI-generated statistics, is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
